On April 6, the front page of Fujian Daily, titled The Breaker of Plastic Circular Economy, deeply reported the latest research results of Prof. Chen Qinghua's team in plastic circular economy of Engineering Research Center of Polymer Green Recycling, Ministry of Education of FNU.

China is a major producer and consumer of plastic in the world. Plastic products make people's lives convenient, but at the same time, they also bring problems such as resource depletion and white pollution. How to recycle plastic has significant practical significance. Through plastic modification, synthetic resins in petrochemical products can be used with high quality and high value, the waste plastic can also be magically transformed to reduce pollution and carbon. Over the past 25 years, Prof. Chen Qinghua's team of Engineering Research Center of Polymer Green Recycling, Ministry of Education of FNU has been delving into the field of modified plastic to change plastic into treasure and made progress with the industry. The team joined hands with more than 50 enterprises inside and outside the province to make collaborative innovation so as to explore the industrialized development of plastic circular economy and strive to break the situation in a deeper and broader field of resource recycling.
