Recently, the results of the 2022 American International Mathematical Contest in Modeling (MCM) and Interdisciplinary Contest in Modeling (ICM) were announced. Our school students won 2 Finalists, 2 Meritorious Winner, and 10 Honorable Mentions, creating the best results since the school participated in the competition. And it is also the first time that our school has won the Finalist.

It is reported that MCM/ICM is sponsored by the American Federation of Mathematics and its Applications. It is the only international Mathematical Contest in Modeling and the most influential one worldwide. The content of the competition involves many fields such as economy, management, environment, resources, ecology, medicine, and safety. The competition attracted more than 20 countries and regions from the United States, Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, India, and China, including more than a thousand universities such as Cambridge University, Columbia University, Cornell University, Peking University, Tsinghua University, and Shanghai Jiaotong University. 27,205 teams and more than 80,000 students competed on the same field.
